From December 20 to 24, the guide and baking competitions of 2022 Bijie Secondary Vocational School Skills Competition and provincial Vocational College Skills Competition was held in Bijie Vocational And Technical College, which was sponsored by Bijie Education Bureau and undertaken by Bijie Vocational and Technical College.
Fifty teachers and students from eight schools in the city took part in the competition. The sun was shining outside the stadium and the atmosphere was warm inside. The brilliant talent show impressed the spectators in the tour guide servicecompetition. The players showed their solid professional basic skills through their witty tour guide words,as well as a cappella of original ecological songs, local opera, paper cutting, minority dance, tea art and dialect talk etc. In baking competition, ordinary ordinary dough was shaped by kneading in the players’ dab hands. And after seven hours, fragrant baguette, styling bread, braid bread and specialty bread with attractive color came out. The spectators were surprised at the players’ skills and they were also lucky to have the chance to taste the bread.
After five days of competition, a total of 31 teachers and students from 8 schools in the city won prizes, including 6 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 15 third prizes.
In teachers’ group of the tour guide competition, Li Shan from Bijie Vocational And Technical College won the first prize. Shi Yunyan won the second prize. Guan Yanhuo from Guizhou Vocational College of Industry and Trade and Zheng Wenqing from Qianxi Secondary Vocational School won the second prize. The teachers from Bijie Industry Polytechnic College, Bijie Finance and Trade School, Bijie Tongxin Agricultural and Industrial Secondary Vocational and Technical School and Weining Autonomous County secondary Vocational schoolwon the third prize. In students’ group, Wei Yuan and Meng Tingting from Bijie Vocational And Technical College and Xiong Changyu from Qianxi Secondary Vocational School won the first prize in tourist guide competition. Zhao Siyu and Long Yu from Bijie Vocational and Technical College, He Xiaomei and Su Mingzhi from,Qianxi Secondary Vocational School and Chen Pan from Hezhang Secondary Vocational School won the second prize. Three students from Qianxi Secondary Vocational School, two students from Bijie Vocational and Technical College and four students from Bijie Finance and Trade School won the third prize.
Zhang Yanni from Bijie Vocational and Technical College won the first prize, Yang Mei won thethird prize, Luo Chun from Bijie Tongxin Agricultural and Industrial Secondary Vocational and Technical School won the second prize in teachers’ group of the baking competition.In students’ group, Huang Lingling, Meng Yunxiao and Chen Zejun from Bijie Vocational and Technical College won the first, second and third prizes respectively, and Wang Juan from Bijie Tongxin Agricultural and Industrial Secondary Vocational and Technical School won the third prize.
This competition fully demonstrated the exquisite skill level and comprehensive quality of the contestants, improved their professional skills, and promoted the communication between schools. It inspired schools to train more high-quality skilled talents in line with the market demand for tourism and catering service industry and carried forward the craftsman spirit!
