In order to fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter to the first National Vocational Skills Competition and the spirit of his important speech during his inspection of Guizhou, vocational skills competition will play a leading role and improve the quality of workers. The first vocational skills competition of Bijie city was held at Bijie Vocational and Technical College on September 7. A total of 258 people participated in the competition.

The competition included 18 items, which were welding, assembly fitter, car maintenance, interior decoration design, information network wiring, restaurant service, baking, health care, hotel reception and so on. In the competition, the contestants were full of energy and showed their skills. No matter it was flat welding with sparks flying, or complex car maintenance, the contestants took an active part in it, fully showing their good professional qualities and professional style.

The competition ended on September 8, and three awards were set up in each event including one first prize, one second prize and one third prize and gold, silver, bronze medal, certificate and bonus were issued respectively. According to the results of the competition, the top 6 of each event would be included in the identification scope of "Bijie Craftsmen".
