On July 14th, Bijie Vocational and Technical College launched the social practice of "Three Assists to Countryside" in summer vacation of 2021. The three assists refer to culture, technology and health care. The ceremony was held in conference room 101 in the administration building. Yi Peng,a member of the Party Committee and vice president of our college, gave a speech. More than 130 people attended the ceremony, including Guo Jialun, a member of School Party Committee and head of Publicity Department, the heads of Student Affairs Department, Security Department and Youth League Committee, the general secretaries of Youth League branches of each teaching department, all instructors and volunteers.
At the ceremony, Yi Peng put forward requirements for allinstructorsand volunteers. He said that we should highlight the theme and focus on the actual effect. The field observation and ideological understanding should be combined and activity-oriented. We needtostrengthenourminds and characters, be willing to devote ourselves and endure hardship, learn from practice and the people, and improve our moral integrity and knowledge. To ensure safety, all teams should strengthen safety education, combine work with epidemic prevention and control, do full research and preparation, ensure the health and safety of teachers and students, and eliminate possible paralysis and fluke.
School youth League committee reported on the team formation, service projects, personnel structure, service location and so on. A total of 12 service teams were organized by the Youth League committee, including 1 national key team for national observation and practice, 1 national special team for rural revitalization, 8 provincial special teams, centering on special programs such as "Project of Warming and Loving Children", "Drug Control", "AIDS Prevention", "Popularize Lawsfor Safe Guizhou by the Young", and propaganda of ethnic unity and progress. And 2 school-level rural revitalization teams.
Shi Yunyan spoke on behalf of teachers. She said that social practice was to measure the earth with footsteps and to pursuit true knowledge in society. It helped us stay true to the mission and fulfill our responsibility. She expressed the confidence and determination to lead the teams to a social practice.
Wu Jiaxuan spoke on behalf of the volunteers. She said that in the following social practice, the students will always adhere to the purpose of getting an education, training skills and contributing. They would learn the history of the Party, strengthen the faith and follow the Party through observing and practicing, strive to become the new generation in the era of national rejuvenation, and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with practical actions.
