In the past few days, with the coming of the World Reading Day on April 23, Bijie Vocational and Technical College held a Party’s history knowledge contest to promote the Party’s history learning and education.
BeingPlanned carefully and prepared well, the contest was organized by the Party’s History Study and Education Leading Group office of the school, and jointly organized by the Student Affairs Office, the Youth League Committee and the library. Leaders of the leading group gave support and guidance. The leading group office made overall planning and coordinating, and issuedthe Plan of the "April 23" World Reading Day Party’s History Knowledge Contest of Bijie Vocational and Technical College, whichclarified the purpose, significance, ways of participation, ways of publicity, implementation, rules, award setting and organization guarantee of the contest.
Based on the precise arrangement, the preliminary selection was carried out. Before thecompetition, the Party’s history knowledge topics were distributed to each class of all the departments. The students were organized and guided to study and comprehend earnestly. An upsurge of studying Party’s history knowledge was raised in the whole school. Each class selected 5 students as a team, and A total of 110 teams were organized to participate in the preliminary contest. With the teachers’ guidance, those students tried hard to learn the history knowledge of the Party and memorize the answer points. They joined forces to prepare for competition. On April 20th, the written test was carried out. There were 6 teams from the department of medical nursing, 1 from the department of education science, 1 from the Department of industrial mining and architecture, 1 from the department of electronic and information engineering, and 1 from the student etiquette club.
Fine service highlighted the final effect.The organizing department did a good job in the final services. The contest problems in the final included required questions for each individual,quick response questionsfor teams andrisk questions for teams. Meanwhile, there werequick responsequestions for the audience on-site, which were designed to enhance the interaction of the audience and enliven the atmosphere. The topics cover the history of the Party, the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up and the history of the development of socialism. On April 23, every team had a good lineup and was full of confidence. In the section of required questions for individual , almost all the contestants could answer them quickly. It can be seen that the contestants are quite familiar with the knowledge of Party history. The atmosphere was tense and the audience was enthusiastic and applauded constantly. After fierce competition, the Class 1 team of Grade 2020 construction engineering Technology from the Department of Industrial Mining and Architecture won the first prize, and the class team of Grade 2017 computer application from the Department of Electronic Information Engineering and the Class 4 team of Grade 2020 Nursing from the Department of Medical Nursing won the second prize.Three teams from the fifth class of 2020, the sixth class of 2020 and the sixth class of 2019 from the Department of Medical Nursing won the third prize.
The study and education was deepened through comprehensive summary. At the end of the competition, the referee group presented prizes to the winning teams. Guo Jialun, member of the University Party Committee and minister of the Publicity Department (United Front Work Department), reviewed and summarized the competition and put forward requirements. The competition strengthened the students' ideal faith, further inheritance and carry forward the red gene and Chinese excellent traditional culture of the communist party of China. It helped pass on Chinese glorious traditions and the CPC’s spirit of perseverance and unswerving belief to the broad masses of students, and made students know that today's life is not easy to achieve. It fully displayed the contemporary students’ positive spirit of loving the Party and our motherland.
