On September 11, Bijie Vocational and Technical College actively coordinated with relevant municipal departments to organize a cultural performance entitled "2020 Bijie Cultural Center 'Chinese opera entering the campus' -- in Bijie Vocational and Technical College".
This activity was organized by Bijie Vocational and Technical College, and co-organized by party Committee propaganda Department, Student Affairs Office and Youth League Committee. Yi Peng, member of the Party Committee and vice president of the coll, attended the activity and put forward requirements. More than 900 people attended the performance, including heads of departments, school counselors (head teachers) and student representatives.
On behalf of the school, Yi Peng expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the performers of Bijie Cultural Center. He emphasized that opera was an important part of traditional Chinese culture, and the dissemination of opera on campus was an important way to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and strengthen the aesthetic education of young people, an important carrier for the inheritance of traditional culture among young people, as well as an important starting point for schools to carry out civilization creation activities. Bijie Cultural Center carried out the activity of sending "Opera into campus", which was of great significance to improving the quality of aesthetic education of students and enriching the campus cultural life.
The whole performance presented more than ten wonderful programs, such as the lantern drama "Choose Captain", The Henan opera "Sing Mulan Again", the water-sleeve dance "Everything Goes Well with the Family", the Peking Opera "Farewell My Concubine", "Shajiabang·Wisdom fight", "Loushan Pass", the Huangmei Opera "The Cowherd and the Weaving Girl", and the Jinghu performance "Welcome Spring". Among them, the lantern drama "Choose Captain" combined with the new look and new atmosphere of Bijie local development in recent years, and caused a good response with laughter and thunderous applause from the audience due to its humor and fun. In the intervals, the host interludes the concepts of lantern Opera, Henan opera, water sleeve dance, Peking Opera, Huangmei Opera and other types of opera, effectively helping students to understand drama and excellent traditional Chinese culture better. The activity came to a successful end in warm applause, and the teachers and students fully felt the infinite charm of the operas.
